Eric was baptized this week!

I sit here and contemplate my week thinking of what actually happened.
It`s crazy to think about how much has truly happened in a week. One
week as a missionary has the spiritual experiences of 1 year of being
a normal teenager. Yet the week blows by in a flash.

I had another baptism this Friday! His name is Eric and he was a total
boarder bum in SLC until he got married. We talk about snowboarding a
lot and it is nice to talk to someone who knows what snow is Face with tears of joyFace with tears of joy
He asked me to baptize him. It was an amazing experience. He is a
chill guy and not much gets to him, but when he came up out of the
water he was crying and gave me a big hug. It was incredible!! It
seriously makes all of this worth it. I love this!!

I met a homeless man who told me he legally changed his name to `Rich
in the Spirit`. He was super nice and we chatted for a bit. He`s
suffered addiction problems and he`s dealing with a lot of inner
demons. He`s trying his hardest to get out of that life style though.
It was rather inspiring to see a man who`s been beaten down by the
world have this fire to change and become better. We said a prayer
with him and he was very grateful. One of my best experience with the
homeless people around here!

I LOVING BENG A MISSIONARY!
